Matrox Video for Windows (VFW) software codecs
Install this software to render and play back RT.X-compatible .avi files using a Video for Windows program on a computer without the RT.X hardware installed.
You do not need to install the VFW software codecs on a system with RT.X hardware installed, because Matrox X.tools installs all the required Matrox codecs on your system.
